Gallery Exhibition at Fordham's Ildiko Butler Gallery

Fordham University is pleased to present Cipe Pineles: Leave Me Alone With the Recipes, an exhibition of selected works from the new book, along with archival materials that take the viewer along on the process of publication design and art direction under one of the great creative minds of the time. Join us in celebrating Cipe—a woman, an immigrant, a pioneer.

A Dinner inspired by Cipe, prepared by Wise Sons, and served with a side of storytelling at JCCSF

Take a seat at the table to share a delicious dinner designed around the recipes in Leave Me Alone With the Recipes. Wise Sons will prepare the meal and editors Sarah Rich and Wendy MacNaughton will tell stories from the book and its creation process.

Expand: Breaking Barriers with Wendy MacNaughton, Sarah Rich, Debbie Millman and Roberto de Vicq

Debbie Millman, host of Design Matters, will be moderating the discussion as Wendy and Sarah share tidbits about the life of Cipe Pineles, from being the first female art director at Condé Nast to the first woman inducted into the New York Art Directors’ Club, and just how much she expanded the potential for women in the industry. Roberto de Vicq, the book's designer, will also share stories behind the featured typography.
